After Friday’s game against Morgan Academy, saying that the Meadowview Christian Trojans were banged up seemed an understatement.

To say they have their hands full this weekend with Clarke Prep is an overstatement.

So, what’s just a general statement?

The Meadowview Trojans could see its 2005 season come to a close after 48:00 of play this weekend in Grove Hill.

For coach Rick Jackson, going into Friday’s game basically loaded with walking wounded players brought flashbacks of their tenure as a Class AAA football team.

Not only is Jackson having to prepare a game plan for Clarke Prep, he is also having to prepare basically a contingency depth chart in case Dustin Lee can’t go at the tailback slot.

Jackson found himself worrying about how his team would survive against Morgan last week.

But, Jackson is resolute about his Trojans playing their hearts out this weekend.

Kickoff for Friday’s game is set for 7:30 p.m., and will be played in Grove Hill at Clarke Prep.
