Thank you for the article on Cahawba,

a place “Dear in my Heart.” It was sad to see the Visitors Center in ruins from a fire. Trust it will soon be rebuilt.

As 2nd VP of Alabama Cemetery Preservation Alliance, we appreciate the recent kindness the people of Selma gave us with our 4th Annual Cemetery Preservation Workshop we held at Selma on Oct. 14 and Cahawba on the 15th.

We were treated kindly and enjoyed being at the Striplin Performing Arts Center and the Ghost Tour was truly great. Great performances by all involved.
