Eula Mae Powell Moseley
Eula Mae Powell Moseley, 101, was born on June 19, 1904 in Wilcox County, Pinehill, Alabama to the late Grant Powell and Ardella Campbell Powell.
She confessed Christ in Pinehill, Alabama. Later, she married John Lee Moseley and to this union three daughters were born, Johnnie Mae, Bessie Lee and Annie Bell. The family moved to Selma and she united with Bethlehem
Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained until death.
Mother Moseley served faithfully in the choir and was the church mother until ill health. She was also the oldest member of the church.
She departed this life Saturday, October 1, 2005 in Montgomery, Alabama at approximately 4:30pm. She was the last of her siblings to be welcomed into eternity.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving and devoted daughter, Bessie L. Givner, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a devoted husband, John Moseley, two daughters, Johnnie Mae Phillips and Annie Bell Fisher, parents and siblings.
Mother Moseley always had a warm smile and a kind word to everyone she met. She loved the lord and was a true example of her faith. She will truly be missed by her family, friends and neighbors. Mother Moseley enjoyed her later days by sitting on the porch watching the people and traffic pass by. She loved dearly and touched many hearts with true divine love.

Bobby Eugene Worthey
On Saturday, September 24, 2005, Bobby Eugene Worthey of Pensacola, Florida crossed over into eternity.
He was born on June 12, 1943 to Eugene and Terry Worthey in Maplesville, AL.
He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Maplesville, AL.
After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.
He leaves to mourn a wife, 5 children, 3 stepchildren, 7 sisters, 1 brother, 17 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
His final resting place is the Barrancas National Cemetery Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida.

Master Jeffrey R. Webb Jr. of Montgomery, Alabama died October 2, 2005 at Jackson Hospital, Montgomery; Al.
Services were held October 8 at 11am at Elmwood Graveside Service. Burial followed at Elmwood Cemetery.

Ernest James, 58, of Demopolis, Alabama passed October 1, 2005 at his residence.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 11am at the Larkin & Scott Funeral Home Chapel, Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. Fred Moore, Eulogist. Interment followed in Prout Cemetery, Demopolis, Alabama.

Jet Taylor
Jet Taylor, of Coatopa, Alabama passed October 3, 2005 at Bryan Whitfield Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 9, 2005 at 12 noon at Bucks Chapel A.M.E. Church, Coatopa, Alabama. Rev. Lester Core, Eulogist. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Wilbur &8220;Buddy&8221; Green Harris, Sr.
Wilbur &8220;Buddy&8221; Green Harris, Sr., 83, of Selma, Al, died Friday, October 7, 2005 in Madison, Al.
He was the son of the late Marvin Green and Addie Goddard Harris a retired advertising salesman.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sallie Hale Harris and second wife, Evelyn Harris.
He is survived by one daughter Dava Harris (Tom) Lusk of Madison, Al and one son Wilbur Green (Judy) Harris, Jr., of Spring City, TN; three grandchildren Ann Condra of Hixson TN, and Elmer Green Harris of Spring City; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted from the graveside Sunday, October 9, 2005 in Cumberland View Cemetery, Kimball, TN at 2pm, CDT, with Rev.Bill Lassiter officiating. Interment following service.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home and arrangements are by Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
