Keith wins first game of season

Orrville &045; The Keith High Bears reached the end zone on each of its second half possessions to capture their first win of the season, 42-14 over the R. C. Hatch Bobcats.
&8220;I knew the guys were capable of doing better.&8221; said Harry Crum, KHS coach.
Keith amassed 506 yards in total offense for the game. Senior Leo Vaughan rushed for 241 yards and scored two touchdowns.
The only scoring in the first half capped a Keith 45-yard drive when Clyde Moise scampered 10 yards around end for the score. The half ended with Hatch down 8-0.
To start the second half the Bobcats’ Antoine Starks took the kickoff 78 yards through the Bear coverage team and into the end zone to put Hatch on the board and tie the game 8-8, following the two-point conversion.
But the Bears came right back on its next possession and marched 75 yards to regain the lead courtesy of Antonio McCall’s 1-yard quarterback sneak with 8:59 on the clock in the 3rd quarter.
Moise rumbled in from five-yards out to put Keith ahead 22-8. The Bears added another score before the quarter ended to all but put the game away when Anthony Robinson plowed through the Bobcat defense from seven-yards away for the touchdown pushing the score to 28-8. at the end of the third quarter.
Hatch drove 57 yards, including two consecutive passes from Eric Sullivan to Starks, 12 and 18 yards respectfully, and reached pay-dirt on a four-yard run by Kadarius Smith. Keith added two more touchdowns in the fourth on runs of five and seven yards by Vaughan. The final score was 42-14.
