Fredrick Douglas
Fredrick Douglas, 59, of Selma/Dallas County, died Thursday, September 1, 2005, at his home.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2005, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Father Carroll Plourde officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include one brother, Jessie Douglas; six sisters Tynette (Emmete) Williams, Parilee Douglas Anderson, Frozenia Hines, Essie Weaver, Katie Douglas and Mary Acoff; four brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Special friend, Lelia Underwood.
He was preceded in death by brothers, George Douglas, William Douglas and Al Douglas, sisters, Ann Douglas Williams and Guestavia Effinger.
Active pallbearers will be brothers and nephews.
Repast will be held in Queen of Peace Catholic Church (Blue Room) next door to the church, 309 Washington St., Selma.
Nadine Hain
Nadine Hain, age 74, died Wednesday September 7, 2005, at home.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.
Earl Lee Givan
Earl Lee Givan, of Selma, died Monday, September 5,2005.
Graveside Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 8, 2005, at Elmwood Cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.
Joe Howell Stough
Joe Howell Stough, age 70, of Millbrook, AL, passed away September 7, 2005, at a Montgomery hospital.
Graveside services will be held Friday, September 9, 2005, at 11:00 at Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. George Weaver officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 8, 2005, from 6-8:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home.
He is survived by one son, Danny (Debra) Stough of Maplesville, AL; two daughters, Sheila (Andy) Dearman of Selma, AL and Janet (Jerome) Mayfield of Orange Beach, AL; three brothers, Billy Stough of Randolph, AL, Norman Stough of Randolph, AL and Bobby Stough of Dothan, AL; two sisters, Ruby Lewis of Coatopa, AL and Margaret Limbrick of Verbena, AL; five grandchildren; a companion of many years, Eleanor Douglas of Millbrook, AL and three special friends, LeAnne and Tommy Wallace of Millbrook, AL and Larry Douglas of Mobile, AL.
Pallbearers will be Stacy Stough, Justin Mayfield, Matt Maddox, Chuck Hopkins, Tim Henderson and Frank Lambert.
