Striplin Performing Arts Center Director Kitti Windham died Sunday, August 28, in a Montgomery Hospital where she was undergoing rehabilitation treatment.

Windham maintained an active role in community performing arts, both at the Center, the Selma-Dallas County Public Library, WHBB and Wallace Community College Selma.

She taught theatre at Wallace and had a three-times a week program on WHBB.

Graveside funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 30 in New Live Oak Cemetery, with The Revs. Joseph Knight and Tom Rimmer officiating.

Lawrence Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
