Lowndes stumbles against Hooper

The Times-Journal

Hooper hung on as Lowneds dropped four straight passes to win 12-6.

With 0:43 seconds left on the clock, the Rebels lined up first and goal from the one-foot line, trailing 13-7.

On first down, junior quarterback Drew Harrell found an open Bradley Adams in the back of the end zone. Adams dropped the pass.

On second down, Harrell dropped back again and found running back Jon Kreder open in the end zone, that pass was dropped.

Harrell tossed back-to-back passes on third and fourth down, both falling incomplete.

While the game did have last minute drama, according to Sullivan, his Rebels weren’t their usual selves.
