Norma Faye Oliver

Norma Faye Oliver, age 71, died Friday August 19, 2005 in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday August 21, 2005 at Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. Tommy Fancher officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Oliver is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ernest Oliver, sons: David (Julie) Oliver, Billy (Becky) Oliver, and Ray Oliver, grandchildren: Justin Oliver, Steven Oliver, Brad Oliver, and Eric Champion, siblings: Bessie Jo Schronk and Ronnie Hopkins, aunts: Willie Mae Cox and Virginia Davis.

She was preceded in death by her mother Hazel Hopkins, a son, James Ernest &8220;Pedro&8221; Oliver, and a granddaughter, Christy Oliver. Pallbearers will be Justin Oliver, Steven Oliver, Eric Champion, Wayne Vinson, Kenny Martin, and Joey Baker.

Family visitation will be Saturday, August 20, 2005 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.

Mary H. Stanberry

Mary H. Stanberry, 88, died Thursday August 18, 2005 in a local hospital..

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday August 22, 2005 at Old Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Taylor officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Stanberry is survived by a nephew, Calvin L. Harrell, III of Prattville, a niece, Marshall H. O’Rourke of Kennesaw, GA, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick &8220;Stan&8221; Stanberry, her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Calvin L. Harrell Sr., brothers, Calvin L. Harrell, Jr., Sidney K. Harrell, and Robert A. Harrell.

Family visitation will be Sunday, August 21, 2005 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.

Charlie Lee Woods

Charlie Lee Woods, 59, of Selma, died Tuesday, August 16, 2005, at a local hospital.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005, at the Chapel of Miller Funeral Home with the Rev. Sammy McDole officiating. Burial followed in Fairlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife, Emma Woods; mother, Ethel Lee Woods; two sons, Charlie Lee Woods Jr. and Edward Owens both of Selma; one daughter, Belinda Woods of Selma; one brother, Mose (Barbara) Woods; five sisters, Isabella Woods, Christine Woods, Febbie Edwards, Daisy (Robert) Moultrie and Joyce Ruthledge; three grandchildren; two brothers-in-law; and two sisters-in-law.

Active pallbearers were nephews and friends.
