Marchel Williamson Young

Marchel Williamson Young, died Saturday, August 13, 2005 in a local nursing home.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday August 16, 2005 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Dr. Jack Lovelace officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Young is survived by her sister Jonny W. Minton of Selma; and numerous nephews.

She was a secretary at Hobbs & Hain for many years.

The family requests that flowers will be omitted.

Mary Ervin Cottrell

Mary Ervin Cottrell, 89, of Gallion, passed on Friday, August 12, 2005, at as Demopolis hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2005, at St. Paul Baptist Church, Gallion with the Rev. Kelvin Robertson officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Larkin and Scott Funeral Home Directors of Demopolis, entrusted with the arrangements.
