Fort Deposit didn’t show.

After dispatching Chilton County in the second round of the District tournament, Prattville faced host Selma and following a rain delay, ended their winning streak with a

defeat.

That victory pushed Prattville to the finals and Selma into the Elimination bracket to face the winner of the Wetumpka and Chilton County game.

Wetumpka knocked the squad from Clanton out of the bracket and then sent Selma home. The win against Selma set-up Tuesday’s final.

The two teams collided Tuesday night in the Major’s District Championship. At press time the scores were not available.

The winner of the district advances to the state tournament held in Thomasville on July 15.
