Thomas Williams, 92, of Minter,AL, died Sunday, May 8,2005, at a local hospital

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14,2005, at the Chapel of Lewis Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hunter Cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.

Kathleen Tanton Holley

Kathleen Tanton Holley, age 88, passed away Monday, May 09, 2005 at a local hospital.

Graveside services are scheduled for, Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at 11:15 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. George K. Jones, Sr. and Rev. Doug Chappelle officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home.

Mrs. Holley is survived by two sons, Elam (Sandra) Holley, Jr. and Ralph (Pat) Holley, a daughter, Martha (Pete) Roberts all of Selma; two sisters, Lillian Hagan of Owensboro, KY and Irene Barnard of New Orleans, LA; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived her long time caregiver, JoAnn Craig.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Drew Brock, Charles Duncan, Chris Horton, Tommy Kilpatrick, Ed Leicht, and her grandchildren Parrish Holley, Brandon Holley and Alden Holley.

Mrs. Holley was preceded in death by her husband, Elam and daughter, Barbara.

She was a member of Valley Grande Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Vernon Grady Lenoir

Vernon Grady Lenoir, 74 years old of Maplesville, AL, died Friday, May 6, 2005, in Maplesville, Alabama.

He was born Thursday, August 28, 1930, in Chilton County, Alabama, the son of the late Grady Armstead Lenoir and the late Bertha Frances Chandler.

Mr. Lenoir was in the Agricultural Industry and loved farming.

Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Mrs. Edna Grover Lenoir of Maplesville, Alabama; six sons, Mr. Gregory (Mary) Lenoir of Plantersville, Alabama, Mr. Gorge (Amy) Lenoir of Plantersville, Alabama, Mr. Tommy (Sarah) Lenoir of Valdosta, Georgia, Mr. Mickey (Becky) Lenoir of Limestone, Tennessee, Mr. Ricky (Mary) Lenoir of Selma, Alabama, Mr. David Lenoir of Selma, Alabama; daughter, Mrs. Connie (Michael) Longcrier of Jones, Alabama; 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; brother, Mr. Grady Armstead Lenoir, Jr. of Maplesville, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his father, Grady Armstead Lenoir and mother, Bertha Frances Chandler.

Services were held at Mt. Carmel Baptist #2 Church, on Monday, May 9, 2005, at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. William Short officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Carmel Baptist #2 Cemetery, with Martin Funeral Home directing.

Taylor Townsend Miller

Taylor Townsend Miller Jr., 79, died May 5, 2005, in a Queensland, Australia hospital.

Mass will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Queenland.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Antoinette Veronica Brown Miller; children; Patillo Lee (David) Brown, Memphis,Tenn., Kirk Taylor(Teri) Miller, Santa Ana, Calif., Rene’ Nicole (Simon) Miller-Wright, London, England; grandchildren; Ellen (Brent) Wester., Christopher Brown, Amelia (Josh) Metcalf, Bruce Brown; brother, John Fitzgerald (Cheryl)Miller; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephew.

Taylor graduated from A.G. Parrish High School in 1943, and served in the U. S. Navy. After graduating from the University of Alabama, he worked in the firm of Barfield and Miller.

He was comptroller at Northrup Aviation until his retirement to Australia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Taylor Townsend Miller Sr. and Mayme Lee Pope Miller. Remembrances and cards can be sent to his family at: 7 Balboa Court Huntington Harbour, Queensland.

Linda W. Jones

Linda W. Jones, 61, died Monday, May 9, 2005, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Fancher officiating and Lawrence Brown-Services Funeral Home directing.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 20095, at Lawrence Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband Levert Jones; children, Tim (Stacy) Jones, Trease (Doug) Kirk, Tommy (Tina) Jones, and Torry (Tory) Jones; grandchildren, Charli Jones, Jed Kirk, Casey Jones, Christian Jones, and Sarah Gresham Jones; numerous nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers are Mark Chambers, Pat Chambers, Kevin Jones, David Jones, Eric Jones and Ed Daniels.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be

made to The American Diabetes Association or Hope Baptist Church Building Fund.
