Mary A. Lamey Johansen

Mary A. Lamey Johansen, age 66, of Valley Grande died Friday April 29, 2005 in a local hospital.

On Sunday May 1, 2005 the family will have a Rosary Service in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Father Carroll Plourde officiating beginning at 6:00 P.M. and visitation following until 8:00 P.M. A private family burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile on Monday. Mrs. Johansen is survived by her husband, George E Johansen of Selma, children, Rebecca (Thom) Curtis of Norfolk, VA; George E (Rhonda) Johansen, Jr. of El Paso, TX; Paige (Mike) Tucker of Gadsden, AL; John Johansen of Daphne, AL; brother, James (Ann) Lamey of Mobile, AL; brother-in-law, Lawrence W Berrier, Jr. of Springhill, LA; sister-in-law, Peggy Lamey; grandchildren, Erica Reynolds Ellis, Madline Thompson, Corine Tucker, Cliff Tucker, and Charles Eric Johansen; great-grandchild, Hannah Ray; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and very dear friends, Anna Warley Gibler and family.

The family requests flowers be omitted and suggests contributions to one’s favorite charity.

Susie Bledsoe Fuller

Susie Bledsoe Fuller, 88, of Perry County, died Saturday, April 30, 2005 at Southland Nursing Home in Marion.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Monday, May 2, at Pisgah Baptist Church in Perry County with the Rev. Michael Brooks, the Rev. W.N. (Sonny) Edwards, Henry Levert officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, May 1, at Kirck Funeral Homes Marion Chapel.

Survivors include her son, Roger Ford Fuller and his wife, Linda, of Selma; daughter, Jane Harrison of Sprott; sister-in-law, Jean Bledsoe of Autaugavillve; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Susie Fuller was a lifetime resident of Perry County, Alabama. She was a member of Pine Flat Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ford Fuller, and her parents, W.T. and Sally Bledsoe.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Bruce Fuller, Boyd Fuller, Houston Hopkins, Brett Harrison, Nick Harrison and Chris Harrison.
