Velma Frith Wimberly

Velma Frith Wimberly, age 95, died Friday April 1, 2005 in a local nursing home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday April 4, 2005 in the Chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr Kenny Hatcher officiating.

Mrs. Wimberly is survived by her sons, William E. ” Dick” (Lillian) Clibrey of Selma, James Alan (Kathy) Wimberly of Columbus, MS; and one daughter Jean Huett (Hoyt) Hayes of Selma; two brothers, Paul Frith of Selma, and Roy Frith of Clearwater, Florida; grandchildren, Rosemary Clibrey (Dana) Folsom, Clanton; Susan Clibrey Scarbrough (Ronadl); John William Clibrey, all of Selma; Robert Earl (Denise) Huett, Mobile; Ernest Levon Clibrey Jr., Chattanooga, Tenn.; Tresa Gail (Dennis) Carpenter, Chicamauga, Ga.; Tyron Reed (Tammy) Wimberly, Jones; Michael Alan (Faith) Wimberly, Powderly, Texas; Brian James

(Bethany) Wimberly; Amanda Jean Wimberly, all of Columbus, Miss.; and 9 great grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She retired from Craig Field after many years of service. She taught Sunday School at Northside Baptist Church until her health no longer allowed her to teach. Her faith in God and her family were her greatest pleasure.

Active pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Northside Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2005 at the funeral home.

Baby girl Hester

Baby girl Hester, of Montgomery, died April 1, 2005. Funeral services and survivors will be announced by Bell Funeral Home at a later date.

Glenda Jordan

Glenda Jordan, a resident of Fort Deposit, died April 2, 2005. Funeral services and survivors will be announced by Bell Funeral Home at a later date.

Tammy Rinehart Copeland

Tammy Rinehart Copeland, 36, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2005, in San Antonio, Texas.

Burial was in Heiberger Cemetery in Marion, AL on Saturday, March 26, 2005.

Tammy is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Rinehart; father, Ronnie Rinehart; sister, Lisa Bagby; brother, Kevin Rinehart; and best friend and former husband, Terry Copeland.

Earnest Foster

Earnest Foster, 76, of Minter, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at a local hospital.

Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Friendship Baptist Church with Elder James L. Pryor officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy Foster; parent, Annie and Earnest Foster; four sons, Earnest, David, Leo and Derrick; and three sisters, Earnestine, Deloris, Doris, Barbara Dean and Hattie Mae.

Bama Bell

Bama Bell, 60, of Selma, died Monday, March 28, 2005.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Camp Creek Baptist Church in Tyler, with Elder A. Barnett officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing,

Survivors include her husband, John Bell Sr.; mother Ora Mae Gunn; two sons, Earnest Bell and John Bell Jr.; godsons, Joseph Agee and Clarence Henderson; five daughters, Bettie Doss, Gladys Iyabor, Gloria Johnson, Debra Bell and Latrisa Vassell; and goddaughter, Doris Smith; three brothers, James Gunn, Calvin Davis and David Smith; six sisters, Dorothy Tyus Hudson, Della Gunn, Nellie Gunn, Inez Peake, Dora Gunn and Vivian Gunn; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sons-in-law; and two sisters-in-law.

Active pallbearers were family and friends.

Jimmy Stabler

Jimmy Stabler, 80, of Brent, died Friday, March 25, 2005, at a Tuscaloosa hospital.

Services were held Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Mt. Tabor M.B. Church in Brent, with Pastor Sam Carter officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Sinai Cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife Lois Stabler; three sons, A.J. (Mary C.) Stabler, Jimmy Jr. (Vickie) Stabler and Rodney Stabler; four daughters, Margaret (Rufus) Wilkerson, Annie Stabler, Mary (Leroy) Blair and Barbara Stabler; one brother, John (Ella) Stabler; one sister, Johnnie Stabler; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and a host of nephews and nieces.

Eloise Andrews

Eloise Andrews, 47, of Selma, died Monday, March 28, 2005.

Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Good Hope Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, with Miller Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her husband, Troy Andrews Sr.; mother, Mrs. Sadie B. Sullivan; three sons, Terrance Maurice Sullivan, Troy Andrews Jr. and Kendrell Don Andrews; one daughter, Kimberly Deon Andrews; three brothers, James Sullivan Jr., Jimmy Sullivan and Patrick Sullivan; three sisters, Earlene Sullivan, Pauline Sullivan and Ruthie Wright; two brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; 14 nephews; and 11 nieces.
