James Richard Sundie
James Richard Sundie, 46, of Foley, died Friday, March 25, 2005.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at Foley First Baptist Church in Foley.
Burial will follow in Pine Rest Memorial Park Cemetery in Foley with Pine Rest Funeral Home, Inc. directing.
Survivors include his wife Angela (Peed) Sundie of Foley; daughter, Maegan Noel Sundie of Oxford, Miss.; brother, Johnnie Wayne Sundie of Lozley; sisters, Jo Anne Irwin of Foley and Allison Kay Miller of Magnolia Springs; step-brothers, Charles Junior McKinley of Robertsdale and John Terrance McKinley of Foley; mother, Patricia Ann McKinley of Silverhill; and step-father, Charles McKinleySilverhil.
Family visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 -8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Pine Rest Funeral Home.
The family suggest memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105 or Rick Sundie Medstar EMS Foundation, c/o South Baldwin Education Foundation, P.O. Box 1600, Foley, AL 36536.
Olen Carl Jackson Jr.
Olen Carl Jackson Jr. of Houston TX. formerly of Selma Al. passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2005.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Survivors include his mother Sallie Agee Emerson of Selma, Al; brothers, Michael W. (Cheryl) Jackson of Lakeside Ca. and William A. (Louise) Jackson of CoeurD’Aline Id. Aunts and uncles, Cora Drake Agee, Sylvia (Thomas) Stone, Miles (Betty) Agee of Selma, Al,
and numerous friends in Houston TX.
Annie Laurie Brown
Annie Laurie Brown, 104, of Dallas County, died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at a local hospital.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at Ellwood Community Church with the Rev. Gary Crum officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.
Byron T. Cook
Byron T. Cook, 37, of Marion, died Friday, March 25, 2005, at his home.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at Berean Baptist Church in Marion, with the Rev. C. Dwight Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Marion City Cemetery with J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his best friend, Beverly England; father, Willie King of Marion; two brothers, William (Agnes) Cook of Decatur, Ga., and Larry (Vivian) Cook of Selma; three sisters, Lucy Acherd of Murphysboro, Ill., Rita Cook (Johnny Tutt) and Sharon Cook of Marion; adopted sister, Lucy Pryor of Marion; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Elizabeth Miley Chance
Elizabeth Miley Chance, age 87, of Selma, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2005.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. in Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. Nelson Bullard officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by two daughters, JoAnn (Glenn) Sexton and Betty Maury (Ken) Schroeder both of Selma; four grandchildren, Bill Sexton, Ken (Sheryl) Schroeder, Neal (Kim) Schroeder and Mari Beth (Brian) Fuller and seven great grand children, Whit Schroeder, Leslie Schroeder, Laken Sexton, Chase Fuller, Sage Fuller, Parker Hinson and Hunter Hinson; and her companions, Etta Anderson, Vera Surles, and Sophronia Surles.
Pallbearers were William Glenn Sexton, Jr., Kenneth Morrow Schroeder, Neal Ward Schroeder. Whit Carner Schroeder, William Glenn Sexton and Marvin Kenneth Schroeder.
Honorary pallbearers were Robert Quarles, Joe Rives and Harris Russell.
