Luretha Milhouse, formerly of Selma, died on Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at a hospital in Brooklyn, NY.

Leroy Peterson, Sr., of Selma, Thursday, February 17, 2005, at a local hospital.

Willie Jordan Jr.
Willie Jordan Jr., 78, of Selma, died Friday, February 18, 2005, at a local hospital.

Mildred Rush Harrison
Mildred Rush Harrison, 80 year old homemaker of Stanton, Alabama, died Sunday, February 20, 2005 in Park Place Nursing & Rehab Center in Selma.
She was born Monday, October 6, 1924 in Chilton County, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Charlie W. Rush, Sr. and the late Verna Davis Rush.
Surviving are son, Mr. Charles Irby (Shirley) Harrison of Stanton, Alabama; granddaughter, Mrs. Karen Harrison (Tony) Smith of Stanton, Alabama; great grandson, Mr. Keaton Jones of Stanton, Alabama; sister, Mrs. Mary Charles (Bernard) Stewart of Clanton, Alabama; brother, Mr. C.W. (Barbara) Rush of Clanton, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irby Harrison, father, Charlie W. Rush, Sr., and mother, Verna Davis Rush.
Services will be held today, February 22, 2005, at Stanton Bible Methodist Church, Stanton, Alabama, at 11:00 AM with Rev. John Ingram and Rev. Charles Sullivan officiating.
Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery, Stanton, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Stanton Bible Methodist Church.
Lillie Pearl Campbell
Lillie Pearl Campbell, 77, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2005, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at Selma Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Fancher officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Family received friends Monday night at Selma Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband, Loyd D. Campbell of Selma; two sons, Wayne Ford of Auburn, AL and Raymond (Sherri) Campbell of Plantersville, AL; 4 daughters, Renee (Scott) Melton of Valley Grande, AL, Faye (James) Jones of Selma, Lynn (Kyle) Lawley of Valley Grande, AL, Kaye (Wes) Dees of Maplesville, AL; two brothers, Jessie L. Cook of Selma, and James L. Cook of Monroe, LA; two sisters, Polly Baxley of Ocala, FL, Frankie Rutledge of Boca Raton, FL; nine grandchildren, Heather (David) Sellers of Montgomery, AL, Bubba (Shea) Ford of Opelika, AL, Courtney Campbell of Plantersville, AL, Kyle Lawley of Valley Grande, AL, Brandon Melton of Valley Grande, AL, Logan Campbell of Plantersville, AL, Nichole Dees of Maplesville, AL, and Kayla Lawley of Valley Grande, AL; one great-grandchild, MacKenzie Ford of Opelika, AL.
Active Pallbearers will be Jack Andrews, James Barnes, Ricky Cook, Rusty Cook, Dan Godwin, Jason Godwin, Michael Godwin, and Joe Keener.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Knight, Dr. Howell, Jimmy Pardue, and Buford Campbell.
The family wishes to thank Cahaba Hospice and staff and also Dr. Knight, Dr. Howell and friends of the family.

Baby Jordan Brayboy, a resident of Montgomery County, died on February 20, 2005.

Shelley Audrey James Hester
Shelley Audrey James Hester, 95, died on February 20, 2005. She was born in Belgreen, Alabama on October 20, 1909.
A memorial service will be held at Young Meadows Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jeff Lawrence officiating.
Visitation will be held at the church at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Marvin Hester. Survivors include her son, Marvin Hester, Jr. and his wife Joy Townsend Hester; two granddaughters, Heidi Hester Lee (Robert) and Heather Hester Sasser (Steve), Decatur, Alabama; six great grandchildren, Caroline Lee, Gibbs Lee, William Sasser, Matthew Sasser, Andrew Sasser and Phillip Sasser; and three sisters, Mary James Howard, Hartselle, Alabama, Verlon (Boots) James Casey, Decatur, Alabama and Doris James Murray, Atlanta, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made to Young Meadows Presbyterian Church.
