Hager Leroy “Buddy” Gibbs, Jr.

Hager Leroy “Buddy” Gibbs, Jr., 51, died Saturday, January 29, 2005, in a local hospital.

Services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2005 at 12 noon in the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Jonathan Lambert officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Family visitation will be Monday, January 31, 2005 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.

Survivers include his children, Jerrilyn Gibbs, Jeremy Gibbs, Shannon Osborne, Jamie Meyer, and Russell Boothe; parents, Hager and Elizabeth Gibbs; one sister, Miriam Gibbs; five grandchildren; numerous aunts and uncles; special friends, Marie and Jeremy Williams.

Active pallbearers will be Tim Phillips, Keith Phillips, Paul Phillips, Tommy Yelverton, Michael Yelverton, and Ken Broughton.

James Kenneth Harrison

James Kenneth Harrison, 61, of Marion, Ala. died Saturday, January 29, 2005 at the DCH Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday February 1, 2005 at 11 a.m, with the Rev. Brian Consley officiating. The burial will occur at the Heiberger United Methodist Church Cemetary.

The Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel is directing.

Harrison is survived by wife, Nancy Ham Harrison of Marion,

daughter, Deborah Harrison (James) Pannell of St. Simons Island, Ga., son, Benjamin Friday, of Marion, brother, Gene Harrison of Sprott, and grandchildren, Charles Bailey Pannell and Ethan Burdett, both of St. Simon Island, Ga.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Roby and Nina Kate Bailey Harrison, and his brother Thomas Roby Harrison Jr.

Active pallbearers will be Richard Reeves, Brett Harrison, Nick Harrison, Chris Harrison, Danny Bamberg, Carl Middlebrooks, Frank Harrison Jr., and Hurt Harrison.

Honorary pallbearers will be Hog Heaven Hunting Club, Jason Cook, and Jammie Cook.

The family will receive friends on Monday, Jan. 31 from 7-8 p.m. at the Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel.
