Johnie Russell Ruckman
Johnie Russell Ruckman, 85, of Selma, died Tuesday, January 4, 2005.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, at Pineview Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Al Finch officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include one son, Timothy Charles Ruckman of Selma; one daughter, Melinda Annis Ruckman Pruitt of Birmingham; one brother, Virgil Keister Ruckman of Clearwater, Fla.; four grandchildren, Kenton Russell Ruckman and Lisa Ruckman of Lowndesboro, David Clay Pruitt Jr. of Anniston and Lindsay Ruckman Pruitt of Birmingham.
Mr. Ruckman was preceded in death by his wife, Edith G. Ruckman and one son, Johnie R. Ruckman Jr.
Family visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, at Selma Funeral Home, prior to graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Wiregrass Hospice.
Benjamin Marshall
Benjamin Marshall, formerly of Selma, died Monday, January 3, 2005, in San Rafael, Calif.
Services will be held at 12 noon, on Saturday, January 8, a the Chapel of Lewis Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. F.D. Reese officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include one sister, Billie Jean Marshall of Selma; a dear friend, Effie Lee Hall of Oakland, Calif.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Michael David Osburn
Michael David Osburn, Sr., 46, of Selma died Monday, January 3, 2005, at his home.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 7, 2005 at New Live Oak Cemetery, directed by Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.
Mr. Osburn is survived by his wife, Jeronia H. Osburn of Selma: sons, Michael D. Osburn, Jr, and his wife Lacey of Oak Harbor, Wash.; Aaron Osburn of Selma; grandson, Joshua Caleb Osburn of Oak Harbor, Wash.; Mother, Jill Worrell of Selma; brother, Mark Osburn of Selma; niece, Whitney Osburn of Orrville; and several aunts and uncles.
Family visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Lawrence Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to God’s Miracle Ranch.
