James Jackson

James Jackson, of Selma, died Friday, November 11, 2004 at his home.

Services are at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 18, at Camp Creek Baptist Church in Tyler with Bishop C.J. Nicholson officiating.

Burial will follow at New Liberty Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Cedric Jackson and Rodney Riddle; daughters, Peggy Smith and Shanita Jackson; four brothers, Joe Lewis Jackson, Paul Jackson, Tommy Jackson and Charles Jackson; four sisters, Irene Pettway, Annie Lee Stone, Nancy Gould and Pearl Jackson; six grandchildren, three sister-in-laws, and a host of nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mazie Mott Minor

Mazie Mott Minor, 81, Selma died November 13,2004, at her residence.

Services will be held on Monday November 15,2004, at noon in the Selma Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. Calvin Strickland and Keith Lewis will officiate. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. Selma Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

She is survived by one son, Rocky (Wyn) Minor, Prattville; a daughter, Mandy (Felix) Reeves, Selma; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Highland United Methodist Church. Condolence letters may be mailed to Mandy Reeves, at 5725 County Road 37, Selma, AL, 36701.

Carol Pauline Milling

Carol Pauline Milling, 86, died Saturday, Nov. 13, in a local nursing home.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. in

New Live Oak Cemetery, with the Rev. Doug Chappelle Officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include a son, Richard Milling, Saccasunna, N.J.l; a daughter, Rosemary Lancaster, Selma; a sister, Alla Mae Nichols, Calvert; numerous nieces and nephews; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a beloved cousin, William P. Buckelew, Huntsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Milling and son, Bill Milling.

Pall bearers will be the men of the Valley Grande Baptist Church.
