Robert Haynes Collins, 80, of Selma, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004, at local hospital.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, in New Live Oak Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Lisenby officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his daughter, Cherryl Flanagan, of Tuscaloosa; Michael HH. (Teresa) Collins, Selma; Stephen B. Collins, Mobile; grandchildren, Brian Flanagan of Birmingham; Michael Collins, Montgomery; Robert Collins, Selma; and Brandon Collins, Lawrenceburg, Ky.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Church Street United Methodist Church Building Fund.

The family will receive friends at Lawrence Funeral Home from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004.

Robert K. Washburn

Robert K. Washburn, 34, of Newbern, died Oct. 31, in Hale County.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m., in the Oakwood Cemetery in Greensboro. Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel is directing. Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Sheriff Boys Ranch.

A. Marie Stewart

A. Marie Stewart, 65, of Selma, died Thursday, October 28,2004 at her residence.

Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 2, in the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. William Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in the New Live Oak Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be held at the Lawrence Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 1.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Stewart; her daughter, Elena Louise (Snookie-poop) Stewart; son-in-law, Kenneth Wayne Stewart-Carter; her mother, Mary Louise Smith; sisters, Teresa Godbold and Mary Jane Smith; and her brother, Wesley Smith.

Survivors include her daughters, Lesa (Scott) Stewart-Bailey of Selma; Helen (Chris) Arnold of Selma, Tracy (Wayne) McCray of Marysville, Wash., and Beth (Bobo) Parker of Clanton; father, Joe W. Smith, Sr. of Selma; sister, Suzie Brackett of Selma; brothers, Joe W. (Jean) Smith, Jr. of Selma, Aubrey T. (Margaret) Smith of Tuscaloosa, and Luther L. (Cathy) Smith of Selma; grandchildren, Leslie (Shaun) Pierce, William Stewart, Leah, Nathan, and Alex Bailey, Ashley and Hannah Arnold, Haylee Marie McCray, Destinie, Austin, and Eric Parker, Juston Carter, Mary Louise and Ricky Stewart-Carter, and Steven Hooks;great-grandchildren, Savannah Pierce; special nephew and niece, Lee and Pam Colburn of Selma.
