Dallas County beats Greene County

Rafel Miller followed last week’s four-touchdown performance against Keith High with a pair of touchdowns in Dallas County High School’s 28-6 win over Greene County on Friday night.

Miller scored on runs of 28 and 8 yards, and tight end Mike Johnson added a score on a 32-yard pass from quarterback Derrick McGhee as the Hornets (4-1, 2-1 in the region) rolled to a 22-0 halftime lead.

Courtney Stubbs added a 6-yard touchdown catch from McGhee, followed by the 2-point conversion catch by Johnson from McGhee.

“It was a big win for us,” Dallas County coach Rick Bush said. “Now we’ve got Southside coming in next week for another big game.”

The Hornets will host the inter-county rival Panthers next Friday night.
