The Sidewalk Film Festival in the Arts District of Birmingham starts Friday and continues through the weekend and will honor local writer Kathryn Tucker Windham.

The focal point of the festival will be shown at noon on Saturday at the Alabama Theatre, “Kathryn: The Story of a Teller” is produced by Norton Dill.

Tickets may be purchased at the door of the theater.
