yet be world famous, but if you’ve got a hankering for some watermelon, they are a duo worth knowing.
This summer they grew a gargantuan 64-pound melon in their garden at home.
“It took a pretty long time,” Claudia said.
As gardeners, the duo does not specialize in gigantic melons, they branch out into normal size food as well.
“We grow tomatoes, flowers and beans,” Claudia said.
Mason added that he also grows strawberries.
He did not comment on whether or not they were of tremendous size.
Still, like many great duos, the Kendricks are not without their creative differences.
Claudia said she planned to eat the watermelon, but Mason had other ideas for the melon that is bigger than he is.
“I’m going to give it to somebody,” he piped up, “my girlfriend.”
The lesson to be learned, of course, is even in the world of humongous melons, you have to watch out for the seeds.
