Last weekend our family attended the Saturday night performance of “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.”

We had a night of relaxing laughter right here in Selma enjoying the Encore Theater Troupe’s summer performance. It was really good to able to do that thanks to the talent and vision of Kitti Windham. Kitti contributes much to our community on an ongoing basis. She truly seeks to bring art to us all in many forms. The monthly ongoing art sows at the Performing Arts Center are great to visit. Encore Theater’s offerings, at least annually, are a good way to spend an evening and provide cultural diversity and opportunities for acting right here in the area.

The Tuesday movies for seniors and the summer afternoon movies for children are other programs brought to us for our benefit by the ever thinking person at the helm of the Performing Arts Center. Kitti, I appreciate your talent in acting and directing and have since high school (A.G. Parrish, Class of 1965). Even more, I admire you and thank you for all you do.
