The Lady Senators were not so fortunate, losing to Lowndes 6-1. Laura Whitney Bennett took the loss on the mound for the Senators. Coach Rick Blevins’s said his team was a little rusty from spring break. “First game after spring break, we hit the ball well but couldn’t get anything to fall for base hits. Overall, we played good defense, but we did have one poor inning.”
