Selma artists on display

Time is running short for those who have not visited two interesting exhibits at the Performing Arts Centre – works by students at Southside High School under the direction of their teacher, Jo Taylor, and by members of the Selma Art Guild. The show ends March 31.
As previously announced the Performing Arts Centre has begun regular exhibits of students’ art on a monthly basis.
This month’s exhibit is no disappointment. Two large panels designed and executed by Southside students grace the entry way on the west wall.
There are about 50 original works in the west room of the centre in various media.
The works of the Selma Art Guild on display, numbering about 30, appear on the east side of the entry way and in the east exhibit area.
Visitors will enjoy the variety of styles represented in both exhibits.
The Performing Arts Centre is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Monday through Friday. For information, call 874-2145.
