William H. Busby Jr.
William &uot;Billy&uot; H. Busby, Jr., 75, died October 30, 2003.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 1, at the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home.
Family visitation will be Friday from 6-8
p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home.
Thomas Earl Towns Sr.
Thomas Earl Towns Sr., of Selma, died Wednesday, October 29, 2003, at his home.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home.
Mary Ferrell
Mary Ferrell, 65, of Gallion, died Sunday, October 26, 2003, in Demopolis.
Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 1, at St. Luke Baptist Church in Gallion, with the Rev. Richard Fountain officiating. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery with Larkin and Scott Funeral Home directing.
The body will lie in state at the church on Saturday, beginning at 12 noon.
Lenora Brown Berry
Lenora Brown Berry, 44, of Norfolk, Va., died Monday, October 27, 2003.
Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 1, at Mt. Olive Church in Greenville. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery with Bell Funeral Home directing.
Melon Greene
Melon Greene, 74, of Coatopa, died Monday, October 27, 2003, in Demopolis.
Services are at 1:30 p.m. at Bucks Chapel AME Zion Church, Coatopa, with the Rev. Eddie Coats officiating. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery with Larkin and Scott Funeral Home directing.

Douglas Beason, of Hayneville, died Thursday, October 30, 2003.

Aaron Lee Moore
Aaron Lee Moore, 43, of Lowndes County, died Monday, October, 27, 2003.
Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 1, at Mt. Elam Baptist Church with the Rev. Steven Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery with Bell Funeral Home directing.

Essie Clark
Services for Essie Clark, 101, of Bibb County, will be held at 12
noon, Saturday, November 1, 2003, at Mt. Tabo Baptist Church in Brent, with the Rev. Sam Carter and the Rev, W.D. Dickerson
officiating. Burial will follow in Cooper Cemetery in Centreville with Lee & Rollins Funeral Home directing.
Eddie Dunkin Williams
Services for Eddie Dunkin Williams, 52, of Gadsden, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2003, at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church in Marion with the Rev. Lee Curtis Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Lee & Rollins Funeral Home directing.
Margaret Hasley
Margaret Hasley, 33, of Selma, died Saturday, October 25, 2003, at a local hospital.
Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at St. Paul CM Church with the Rev. Anthony Austin officiating. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include parents, Latonia B. Ramsey and Early Hasley; two sons, Christian and Joshua; one daughter, Cache; one brother, Earl D.Hasley; two sisters, Vera Bryant and Debra Pires; two grandchildren; one brother-in-law; four nephews; four nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends. Special friends, Renda Robbins, LaSonya Dudley, Lindsay, Mary Helen and Edward Roller.
Ms. Hasley was a Christian. She was self-employed as a cosmetologist, and McRae-Gaines Learning Center.
Carolyn Deemer
Carolyn Deemer, 54, of Montgomery, died Wednesday, October 29, 2003.
Graveside services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 1, at White Chapel-Greenwood.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Kenneth; sons, Joshua (Holly) Deemer, Nathaniel and Jonathan Deemer; and a brother, Andy (Randy) Harris.
Mrs. Deemer, will be missed by her family and many friends. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.
