The Lady Senators finished region play at 6-0.

It’s getting to be a habit for Blevins and his squad.

But Blevins feels like this year’s squad has a chance to do even better.

Because of their youth, Morgan’s success has been something of a surprise so far this year.

The team had been built around the reliable setting of Elizabeth Woods and Mallory Forte, according to the coach.

Up front, Elizabeth Elliot, Lindsey Radford, Kyser Youngblood, Crawford Barnes and Caroline Woodruff have provided some power for the Lady Senators.

On defense, Candice Ward, Kayla Pegues and Carrie Glover have seen the most playing time.

Glover has been a terror on the service game, she’s only missed two serves all year. Wood and Radford have also been strong on service.

If the Lady Senators advance, they’ll play in the AISA state tournament in Montgomery.
