The Selma & Dallas County Chamber of Commerce, a division of the Centre for Commerce, announces the release of the new 2004 Buyer’s Guide and Membership Directory.
The book includes facts and history of Selma and Dallas County, a tour guide of the historic district, new businesses in the community, general and utility services, recreation, cultural opportunities, a listing of schools and colleges, special events, clubs and organizations, churches, and health care facilities.
A new feature this year is the alphabetical listing of chamber membership categories.
The cover of the directory pictures the refurbished historic Carnegie Library building that now houses the Centre for Commerce.
In the summer of 2003, the Chamber of Commerce consolidated with the Economic Development Authority, Tourism, and Leadership Selma-Dallas County under the umbrella of the Selma and Dallas County Centre for Commerce. An official Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony has been scheduled for October 23 at 9 a.m.
