Bessie Gardiner Beck

Bessie Gardiner Beck, 98, of Hayneville, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003, at her home.

Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at New Live Oak Cemetery with the Rev. Robert E. Sims officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include numerous relatives.

Mrs. Beck was preceded in death by her parents, and first husband, William V. Bradley and her second husband, James T. Beck.

Family visitation will be from 12-1 p.m..on Thursday, at Lawrence Funeral Home.

Daisy Mae Tucker

Daisy Mae Tucker, 86, of Harpersville, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2003, at her home.

Services are at 2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 7, at the Chapel of Kirk Funeral Homes in Marion, with the Rev. Thomas Fondren officiating.

Survivors include four sons, James Tucker of Marion, Adolph Tucker, Sammy Tucker of Randolph and Robert Tucker of Greensboro; one daughter, Myrtis Hudgins of Harpersville; one brother, J.C. Monts of Marion; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.

Active pallbearers are Wayne Jackson, Gerald Jackson, Jeremy Tucker, Daniel Acker, Jason Tucker and Shane Tucker.

Cora B. Marshall

Cora B. Marshall, 88, of Selma, died Sunday, Aug. 3, at a local nursing home.

Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at Kingdom Hall, Earl Goodwin Pkwy. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery with J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home directing.

Survivors information will follow at later time.

Lestine P. Steele

Lestine P. Steele, 77, of Selma, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2003 at a local hospital.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home.
