Wreck leaves three injured

A major accident occured on Highway 22 West in Beloit on Thursday, leaving at least three people critically injured and traffic stalled for more than an hour.
Witnesses say that sometime around 2:45 p.m. two cars collided near the junction with County Road 45.
Emergency crews from Orrville and Selma worked frantically for nearly 30 minutes to help a couple trapped inside their white sedan.
Firefighters were forced to use the Jaws of Life to remove the top of vehicle in order to reach the injured man and woman. A single victim was discovered inside the second car.
All three victims were taken to the Vaughan Regional Medical Center. At press time, their conditions were
not known.
