Floyd Lasco Horne
Floyd Lasco Home of Brent, 76, died Tuesday, June 15 at a hospital.
Graveside services to be held on Friday, June 18 at 11:00 at Bethleham Cemetery with Rev. Arthur Thomas officiating and Kirk Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m.Thursday, June 17 at Kirkland Funeral Home Marion Chapel.
Survivors include spouse Nellowayne Perkins Horne; three sons, Larry (Debra) Horne, Glenn Horne and Tim Horne; one brother, Doe (Edna) Horne; two sisters, Earline (Andy) McKibbens and Eula Darden; three grandchildren, Mike (Pam) Horne, Lynn (Chris) Pearson, Kelly (Jon) Thomas; four great-grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Hoggle, Dusty Horne, Leigh Anna Hoggle and Brady Horne.
Mr. Horne was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Alma Horne; sisters, Idell Rodgers; Louise Chancey and brothers, Buster Horne and Franklin Horne.
Active pallbearers will be Mike Horne, Jon Thomas, Chris Pearson, Monroe Duke, Barry Darden, Jeff James and Andy McKibbens.
Mr. Horne was born on March 16, 1928. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Belcher Lumber and a bus driver for the Perry County Board of Education Transportation Department.
The family expresses special thanks to staff and physicians of DCH Career Center, Hale County Hospital and Hale County Hospital Clinic.
