Lindsey named Times-Journal president and publisher

Jesse J. Lindsey has been named president of Selma Newspapers, Inc. and publisher of The Selma Times-Journal and Dollar Saver.
Lindsey joined the Times-Journal on Jan. 2, 2002, as advertising director. Previously he was advertising director at the three-times-a-week Monroe County Advocate & Democrat in Sweetwater, Tenn.
He began his career there in 1997 as a sales representative.
Lindsey grew up in
southeast Tennessee. He served in the United States Air Force and attended college there. He is married to Melanie D. Lindsey and they have two children: Chanceton, 4, and Landon, 1.
Former Times-Journal publisher Robb Reeves has resigned to accept a position as publisher of a daily newspaper in Texas. Reeves and his family are originally from Texas.
