Vera Dell Prescott

Vera Dell Prescott, 77, of Selma, died Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at a local hospital.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Selma Funeral Home.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at Selma Funeral Home.

Lillie Mae Robinson

Lillie Mae Robinson, 62, of Demopolis, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at a Demopolis hospital.

Services are at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at St. Paul Baptist Church, Demopolis, with the Rev. Charlie Moore and the Rev. John Kennard officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Place Cemetery in Boligee, with Larkin and Scott Funeral Home of Demopolis directing.

The body will lie in state at the church on Thursday beginning at 12 noon.

Ethel Lee Williams

Ethel Lee Williams, 92, of Demopolis, died Thursday, April 24, 2003, at a Demopolis hospital.

Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 1, at Eastern Star Baptist Church, Demopolis, with the Rev. Carlton Hogue officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Demopolis, with Larkin and Scott Funeral Home of Demopolis directing.

The body will lie in state at the church beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday.

William Howell Cobb

William Howell &uot;Billy&uot; Cobb, 49, of San Bernardino, Calif., died Friday, April 25, 2003.

Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Friday, May 2, at New Live Oak Cemetery with the Rev. Alan Cassidy and Rev. Nick Gaines officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include a son, K.C. Cobb of San Bernardino, Calif.; mother, Norma Jean Smitherman Cobb of Montgomery; brother, Clifton F. Cobb of Montgomery; and sister, Sandra Cobb Reed of Montgomery.

Active pallbearers are nephews, Cliff Cobb, Michael Cobb, Todd Reed and Cody Reed, brothers-in-law and childhood friends, Wynn Ellis and Lynn Ellis.

Honorary pallbearers are Ron Burbick and Dean Burbick of Palm Springs, Calif., their special friendship to our family will never be forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the Methodist Children’s Home in Selma or Brantwood Children’s Home in Montgomery, or our friends in Palm Springs.
