Rayco expansion encouraging news

Rayco Industrial is expanding and that is good news for your community.
Rayco was awarded a contract to play a part in the mechanical expansion of a Honda plant in Lincoln.
The contract is expected to double the size of the company.
This is great news in an era where good jobs are difficult to find and expansions are scarce. But success is nothing new for Rayco.
The company has bucked trends in recent years. Rayco has grown its business over the last two years, emerging as a dynamic and progressive player in the Selma economy.
Rayco specializes in piping and structural steel work. The company employs over 100 workers at its Selma locations.
The fact that Rayco could win the bid shows the company is competitive and that its reputation is solid. The job will require Rayco to fabricate 96,000 feet of piping for the plant expansion.
We are sure the bidding process was competitive because of the size of the project and that Rayco’s past performance was considered. It is good to know that we have a winning company here in Selma that is capable of landing a contract like this.
We also hope the citizens of Selma will note this accomplishment. For reasons largely unknown, we tend to at times see the problems and not the good that happens around us daily in Selma and Dallas County.
Sometimes the good is so loud and overpowering that it makes us stop and realize that we have some talented people working in this community and they are capable of competing with just about anyone.
We want to congratulate the Rayco staff for winning this job. Now that the bid is won and the celebrating is over, the work lies ahead. We wish the company the best with its efforts and hope the job goes as Rayco has planned.
