Naomi Pearson Godwin

Naomi Pearson &uot;Bo Peep&uot; Godwin, 84, of Selma, died Saturday, October 18, 2003, at a local hospital.

Services are at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, in New Live Oak Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Ryan officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack S. Godwin; her parents, Milton and Sadie Pearson; two sisters, Sadie Bolen and Helen Hart; and a brother, William E. Pearson.

Survivors include a son, Cecil Ward LaGrone; two brothers, M.A. (Katherine) Pearson of Selma, and Tommy A. ( Frankie) Pearson of Selma; a sister, Lucy (Herbert) Vickers of Selma; grandsons Barton W. LaGrone of New York, and Micheal W. (Jennifer) LaGrone of Tennessee; granddaughters Courtney LaGrone, Haley LaGrone, Lauren LaGrone, Daphne LaGrone, and Isabell Pigue; great-grandson Hayden Pigue; and a multitude of friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
