Coach leading Leafs in batting

With The Cloverleafs winding up their home games last weekend, and hitting the road for the rest of the season five of the leafs players are hitting over .300.

Meritt Bowden the designated hitter, and player coach is hitting .333 with 10 doubles, one triple, five homeruns, 31 RBI’s, and a slugging percentage of .517.

Jose Colon is hitting .300 with 19 doubles, seven homeruns, 24 RBI’s, 13 stolen bases, and a slugging percentage of .480.

Luke Hurst one of the Cloverleafs catchers, and utility players is hitting. 342, with 1 double, and 4 RBI’s.

Brock Lowell the Leafs third baseman, and utility player is hitting .322, and has nine doubles. Lowell has been one of the best performers on the team with six homeruns, 23 RBI’s, and has a slugging percentage of .507.

Joe Whitmer leads the team in almost every category. Whitmer has .317 batting average with 14 doubles. He also leads the team in homeruns with 10, and in the category of RBI’s with 38. Whitmer also has the best slugging percentage at .566.
