Want to win $1,000? Just attend a Selma Cloverleafs game this weekend.

Starting Friday, the Cloverleafs will kick off their fan appreciation weekend. During the series, when they will be hosting the Baton Rouge Riverbats, there will be giveaways leading up to a $1,000 prize on Sunday.

The drawing will take place during Sunday afternoon’s game

and you must be present to win. All tickets from Friday and Saturday’s games will be used for the $1,000 drawing.

Ticket holders that are eligible include corporate sponsorship tickets, billboard passes, season ticket holders and general admission ticket holders. Team and visitor passes and youth team free passes will be ineligible.

Everyone who brings a church bulletin to Sunday’s game will get in at a discounted rate and general admission tickets will be sold for $5.

There will be corporate sponsors for all of the games this weekend. Friday night will be Peoples Bank Family Night, Saturday night will be Clean Machine Rentals Night, and Sunday will Kentucky Fried Chicken Day.

The Cloverleafs start the playoffs on Aug. 28, In Pensacola, Fla.
