After weeks of surveillance and police work, Dallas County sheriff’s deputies made a substantial drug bust this weekend, seizing hundreds of dollars worth of crack cocaine, marijuana and cash.
On Friday at 5:40 p.m., a Dallas County Sheriff’s Department narcotics unit executed a search warrant at 1 Viva Rd., where they uncovered several bags of narcotics, including zanax, marijuana, and powder and crack cocaine.
Deputies arrested the occupant of the house, Cynthia P. Moore, 41, and charged her with two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and one count of unlawful possession of marijuana first degree.
During the search of Moore’s residence, deputies recovered $1,649 and several sets of digital scales.
Moore was transported to the Dallas County Jail, where her bond was set at $7,500.
Investigator Nash Gibson, chief deputy Wayne Odom, deputies David Odom and Kirk Knight, and K-9 Patti assisted in the arrest.
