Sandra Tyler Farrier

Sandra Tyler Farrier, 52, of Atlanta., died Monday, June 9, 2003.

Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. Kirk Ellison officiating and Miller Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her mother, Ethel Tyler; one daughter, Kristi Cowan; four brothers, Joseph (Shirley) Walton Jr., Warren (Wanda) Tyler, Tommy (Lois) Small and Terrall Thurman and a special brother-in-law, Woody Green; five sisters, Helen Sampson, Patricia Tyler, Dorothy Green, Barbara (Jesse) Anderson and Mildred (Elberd) Hall; 10 nephews; and six nieces.

Active pallbearers are Harry Reese, Lamar Cockrell, Carl Cockrell, Henry Murphy, Aldo Anderson, Robert and Jesse Anderson.

Samuel Williamson Jr.

Samuel Williamson Jr., 64, of Dallas County, died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, in Dallas County.

Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at New Bethel Baptist Church, Orrville, with the Rev. M..J. Perryman and Stanley Draine officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife, Sallie Draine Williamson; step-sons, Darrie (Donna) Allen and Jerome (Addie) Allen; two daughters, Kimberly Yancey and Dawn Williamson; one brother, Edward Williamson; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five brothers-in-law; eight sisters-in-law; a devoted friend, Walter Jones, special cousin, Solomon Finkley.

Active pallbearers are family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers are Darrie Allen, Jerome Allen, Edward Williamson.

Frances B. Caldwell

Frances B. Caldwell, 88, of Selma, died Wednesday, June 11, 2003.

Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at New Live Oak Cemetery with Dr. John Fain officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her son, Ralph Carlson Caldwell and daughter-in-law, Peggy Kelley Caldwell of Selma; two granddaughters, Amy Rebecca Caldwell McElhaney of Killen and Frances Ann Caldwell Gougler of Selma; three great-grandchildren, James Robert McElhaney III (Bethany) of Tuscaloosa, Amy Elizabeth McElhaney Collier (Bobby) of Great Fall, Montana and Ann Kathryn Gougler of Selma; one aunt, Mae Moore of Marion Jct.; and brother-in-law, John Osterman of Kingman, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph H. Caldwell of Selma, two sisters, Mary Louise Bedsole of Demopolis and Ann B. Osterman of Kingman, Ariz.

Alma Blanche Wade

Alma Blanche Wade, 89, of Selma, died Thursday, June 12, 2003, at a home.

Graveside services are at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at Pineview Memory Gardens Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include a son, James O. Wade; daughters, Alma Wade Callahan; sisters, Evelyn Dykes and Minter Raye Brown; grandchildren, Sonya Kay Wade, Kimberly Michelle Gray, Gary Callahan and Cindy Callahan; great-grandchildren, Hayden Gray and Dawson Gray.

She was preceded in death by her husband James D. Wade.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, at Lawrence Funeral Home.

Alfred Davis

Alfred Davis, 72, died Thursday, June 12, 2003, at his home

Eddie Turner

Memorial services for Eddie Turner, 65, formerly of Marion, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2003, at Provewell Cemetery in Marion, with Lee & Rollins Funeral Home directing.
