Ronnie “Shot” Braxton Barnes, age 65, of Dadeville, passed away July 5, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Louise Barnes; brother, Billy Barnes; and granddaughter, Stephanie Sealy.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Barnes; children, Erin (Brad) Dobbs, George (Susan) Tinsley and Michelle Tinsley; brothers, Roger (Debbie) Barnes, Butch (Louise) Barnes, Michael (Bonita) Barnes, Larry Barnes and Bob Barnes; sisters, Dorothy (Buck) Shand, Dianne (Hank) Gaines and Donna (Ad) Veal; grandchildren, Melissa Atchison, Michael Sealy, Izzabella Tinsley and Braxton Dobbs; great-grandchildren, Tyler Hughes and Allison Bennett; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins whom he was very close to.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 9, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with brother Preston Johnson and Keith Chandler officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing.
