Mr. Derrick Lovon Dower Jr., age 22, of Selma, passed away May 14, 2015, in Orrville.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church in Suttles with pastor Kevin Seay officiating.
Burial will follow in Bethany cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.
He is survived by his parents, Gracie and Derrick Dower Sr.; son, Derrick K. Lathers; special friend, Keonna Lathers; grandfather, Jim Woods; brothers, Ladarius and Tyrese Dower; sisters, Laketa Jones (Marvin Moore), Quinnya Dower, Brianna Dower and Shaundreka Dower; aunts, Betty Woods, Viola (Eaton) Harris, Lucy Leverette, Linda (Johnny) Allen, Brenda Owens, Katherine (William) Thomas and Twalla Jones; a host of family and friends, Richard Woods, David Jones, Matthew Woods, Tommy Jones, Bobby (Patricia) Jones, James (Serline) Jones and Bobby Saviory; and great aunt and uncle, Mary and Clarence Boykins.
