Ruby Lewis, age 72, of Dallas County, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, at 1300 Cloverdale Road 9F.

Services are scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Burnsville, officiated by the Rev. Frank Smith. Burial to follow in Little Star Cemetery directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service, Inc.

Survivors include: husband, John Lewis; two sons, Gus (CeCelia) Rose Jr. (Calera) and Authur Rose (Selma); three daughters, Shirley Rose, Sadie Harris, and Christine (Dexter) Grandison all of Selma; one brother, Lesley McCants of Selma; three sisters, Zeola Thomas (Tuscaloosa), Sally (Eldred) Burton (Montgomery), and Lucille Murry (Selma); 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
