A Selma male is facing sexual assault charges after allegedly sexually assaulting two of his girlfriend’s female relatives Sunday.

Christopher Jimmie Wilson, 39, was arrested and charged Tuesday with two counts of first-degree sodomy, one count of first-degree rape and one count of first-degree sexual abuse. Wilson is currently in Dallas County Jail with a bond totaling $210,000.

“Any time there are allegations of sexual assault against anyone male or female, regardless of age, it’s sickening to the community,” said Lt. Curtis Muhannad, with the Selma Police Department. “When we get these cases, we try to be thorough and be fair.”

Selma Police reported to the 100 block of County Road 227 shortly after receiving an 11 a.m. call on Sunday in reference to the sexual abuse of two 13-year-old girls.

The mothers of both victims, one being Wilson’s girlfriend, told police Wilson had sexual contact with the two teenage victims, which are cousins.

Wilson, his girlfriend and the victims have been living in the same home on the 100 block of County Road 227 for 12 years.

“[The Special Victims Unit] found that several incidents of sexual contact had occurred between the victims and Christopher Wilson, and the acts occurred when Christopher Wilson was left alone with the victims,” Muhannad said.

Police have not learned exactly when and how long those acts occurred, Muhannad said.

The mothers of the victims have custody of both teenage girls.

Wilson is set to make his first court appearance Friday at 1:30 p.m.
