Tickets for A&E Duck Dynasty star Jase Robertson’s visit to Selma are selling fast.

Meadowview Christian has scheduled for Robertson to spread his message of faith and family at a praise and worship service in Selma. Tickets for the service set for Sunday, March 2, at the Memorial Stadium from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with the gates opening at noon has been selling quickly with only about 10 meet-and-greet tickets left.

General admission tickets are $35, and they are only available online at ticketalternative.com.

A handful of $1,000 meet-and-greet tickets that allow people to meet Robertson prior to the service and get a picture with him are also available. People can also purchase $100 sponsorship tickets, which would seat buyers on the infield in front of the stage.

Sponsored by Moody Radio, the ceremony will include local food vendors and musical performance from the Surviving the Fall, Luke Jones and the CTK worship team and the Crosspoint worship team Reign prior to Robertson’s speech.

Traci Kendrick, a member of the organizing committee for the service, said that she has received calls from several people outside of Dallas County, including people of Decatur and Birmingham.

“We’ve had calls from all over Alabama,” Kendrick said. “We’re really excited. I haven’t heard any bad feedback. All of it has been positive.”

She said that the service would bring more to Selma than a spiritual message. She said it would also improve the economy.

“It’s going to bring in people buying gas and certainly purchasing a lot of food in our area, so it’ll generate income,” Callen said. “Also, it will give people a chance to see Selma, and see some positive things going on in Selma.”

During the service, Meadowview Christian students will be taking up offerings that will later be donated to Alabama Teen Challenge, Save a Life of Dallas County and Integrity Worldwide.

Tickets will not be available at the gate.
