The Lady Saints led two sets to one, but allowed Sumter Central to come back to force a fifth set.

In the final set, Sumter Central jumped out to an early lead, and Selma was never able to recover, falling to the Jaguars 15-12.

“We were a very young team this year with several girls that have never played the game before,” head coach Melissa White said. “We played well for the most part this year, though, and the young girls learned a lot that they can use going into next season. Tonight, we made a lot of mistakes that cost us. The girls never quit, though, and I’m proud of them for that.”
