Jo Ann Pardue, age 78, of Selma, AL, passed away March 10, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Cochran, and parents, James A. and Mary Elam.

Surviving are her son, J. Craig (Renee) Pardue; daughters, Judith M. Pardue and Mary Jane (Steve) Moore; step-daughter, Linda Cochran Lanier; sisters, Marlene Suther and Freddie Shirley; six grandchildren, Liz (John) Strickland, Russell (Lizzy) Pardue, Lawson (Denise) Brown, Jason (Heather) Brown, Katie (Ross) Smitherman and Brandy (Bud) Shoultz and seven great-grandchildren, Harper Strickland, Grant Pardue, Bryant Brown, Bayne Brown, Addison Brown, Tristan Smitherman and Piper Jane Smitherman.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in New Live Oak Cemetery with Bro. Danny Sumerlin officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service at 12-2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Lawson Brown, Jason Brown, Ross Smitherman, Bud Shoultz, Russell Pardue and John Strickland. Honorary pallbearer will be Eric Elam.
