The funeral service for Mattye Dallas Babcock, 72, of Selma, AL, formerly of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 2, 2013, at St. Luke C.M.E. Church, 213 N. Donahue Dr.  in Auburn, AL, with interment in Auburn Memorial Park Cemetery, Rev. Robert Strickland, officiating, Rev. Desmond Scaife, Eulogist.

Ms. Babcock, who passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013, at her home in Selma, AL, she was born in Lee County, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Dallas, Jr. and Ruth Dallas.

Survivors include: daughter, Michele Babcock, two granddaughters, Breunde’ Moultrie and Torri Moore, great grandson, Brenden Stallworth, all of Selma, AL; four sisters, Susie (Ollis) Bryant, Sylvia McBean, Paulette (Robert) Woods and Shelia (John) Harris all of Auburn, AL; two brothers, Rueben (Ida) Dallas, Sr. of Aurora, CO and Oliver (Mianne) Dallas, Sr. of Boney Lake, WA; two cousins who were like sisters, Barbara Holmes and Mary Scott of Auburn, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
