Cogle, Blake wed in January ceremony

Miss Margaret Callis Cogle and Mr. Wesley Clay Blake were united in marriage on January 5, 2013, with Dr. Jerry Light officiating at First Baptist Church, Selma, Alabama. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Kent Cogle of Marion Junction, Alabama. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. James Earl Blake of Montgomery, Alabama. The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Gray, Jr. of Selma, Alabama and Mrs. Robert Stuart Cogle of Marion Junction, Alabama and the late Mr. Robert Stuart Cogle.

The groom is the grandson of Mr. Joyce Paul Bailey, Sr. of Montgomery, Alabama. He is also the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Fred Blake and Mrs. Joyce Paul Bailey, Sr.

Mrs. Brittany Cogle Wingo served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Anna Kate Ingram Bowen, Mrs. Lauren Harris Bradford, Mrs. Mary Lee Goodwyn, Mrs. Megan McNair McKenzie, and Mrs. Natalie Fisher Toy.

The bridegroom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen included the groom’s brother, Mr. Kyle Bailey Blake, the bride’s brother, Mr. Douglas Gray Cogle, Mr. Joshua Stephen Arnold, Mr. Preston Tyler Ashmore, Mr. Robert Hulan Preston, Jr., and Mr. William Michael Shaw. Ushers were Mr. James Austin Bailey and Mr. Slaton Clay Bailey.

A reception followed the ceremony at Sturdivant Hall.

The couple home is in Montgomery where the bride and groom are employed by Certified Public Accountants at Aldridge, Borden, & Company.
