Sophomore centerfielder Eddie Waters has been named

National Player of the Week by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association.

In a 3-1 week for the Bulldogs, Waters hit .500 (7 of 14) with 5 runs scored, 7 RBI’s, a home run, and a triple.  He also went 3-or-3 in stolen base attempts and walked three times.  In a win over Albany State, Eddie hit the walkoff grand slam to cap off his remarkable week

Waters was named player of the week by Black College Baseball (blackcollegebaseball.com) for the week of Feb 28-March 6 when he hit .750, with three home runs, scored nine runs, knocked in seven RBI, and was 3-for-4 in stolen bases.
