Democratic leaders blast GOP over access

MONTGOMERY — The new chairman of the Alabama Democratic Party is criticizing plans being developed by Republican legislative leaders to limit access to lawmakers’ offices when the Legislature is in session.

Party Chairman Mark Kennedy said Wednesday that Democrats had an open-door policy when they were in charge of the Legislature, but the new Republican leadership isn’t as open.

House Speaker Mike Hubbard and Senate President Pro Tem Del Marsh said Monday they are looking at restrictions because of a Jan. 8 shooting in Tuscon, Ariz., that killed six people and wounded 13 others, including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

Kennedy said the Arizona shootings didn’t involve any government building.

Typical Liberal Idiot! They don’t care about business, not ours and what needs to be done and what they’re elected to do, it’s what’s they think will benefit them. Why do people elect these fools?

Do you even read the articles?

      Serious Question…

Kennedy is foolish. Has he forgot the bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma? Such can happen anywhere. If one goes to the DIR, it is like trying to get into Fort Knox. So what is the problem here?

Here it comes. ALL Alabamians will suffer as a result of the infighting, as NOTHING will get done.
